I think I may be missing the Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) sensor on my 1975 Porsche 914 2.0L engine.

The sensor shown in Picture 1 is the Intake Air Temperature sensor, correct?

I can't find the Cylinder Head Temperature sensor anywhere on the engine.

In Picture 2, is that the correct mounting location for the CHT sensor?

If anyone has a picture showing the CHT sensor installed in the cylinder head, I would really appreciate it. It would help me identify the correct location.

Thanks for your help!

What being referred to here as temp sensor 1, is the thermoswitch, not TS1, although its function as a switched ground for the cold start valve is correct.

TS1 is in the air plenum, sensing the intake air temperature.
