Anyone know where i can get a new set of CV's (all four) or a full axle without spending a fortune? Or at least can find them period?

James, I'm not going to argue with your economics, but what
you said about the parts for rebuild is not the same as what I've seen. What I've seen for bad old CV's, they always had a large wear area on both the races. This would not be something you can fix with new balls and be good to go. I also have a 944 CV from a few weeks ago where one area is pitted very badly, however all the other parts are fine. If my experience is not normal, and you can 'rebuild' these in the manner you're talking, then I'll agree with you. |
