I very recently set up a Yahoo email account, and am now getting PayPal ID theft spam on it (Hi, we're Paypal, we've randomly selected you to go to this non-Paypal site that looks just like a Paypal site to "re" enter all of your personal info so we can rob you blind...). Problem is, I've only given out this address to two places: this board (in the settings), and I subscribed to one VW mailing list (type3.org). I'm letting them know, too, but one of you is getting the addresses harvested. If other people on this board are getting this spam, it's more likely this one.

It's almost certainly the mailing list. I hadn't noticed they publish the last few posts to the list on their website complete with full email headers...doh!
