I recently aquired a 72 914 off of ebay. The owner claimed Sepia brown was the original color, I have not seen another 914 in this color. I have seen a few 912's and 911's in this color and I do know it is a porsche color. Any help would be great.

No, not an original color.
Your Karmann badge should show paint code 98. Let me know your VIN and the chassis number off of the Karmann badge. |
