I am thinking about getting nitrous for my 01 grand prix gt and I was wondering if anyone knows something about nitrous. Does it wear your engine down quickly, or is it non-destructive to the engine. I want to keep the car for a long time, but I also want some more power for cheap!

Anyone remember a good thread somewheres.. about a nissan maxima and nitrous, guy forgot to turn off his bottle heater and parked the car in the garage, bottle overheated and blew the ass end of the car through the door all over the driveway. It's not just for dentists anymore, haHA!
