My 75 2L has 115,000 miles, leaks oil from everywhere, has low comp, low oil pressure, and leaks oil from everywhere. I pulled a strong dry 2L from my son in laws (on rails), crashed car ( he went off rails). Yesterday I pulled my engine, swapped the FI stuff over and put his in my car(not bad for 1 days work). Now it won't start. It gets spark, and the injectors are firing. I'mm 99.999% sure everything is hooked up right. CHT reads 2000 ohms. I'm gonna pull the air cleaner from his new car today to verify everything is hooked up correctly.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Get out your propane torch. Feed the nozzle down the throttle body, turn it on and see if the car will start. If it does, then its a fuel system problem. If it doesn't start, then it's ignition related.

Remember, to get a car to start, you have to think FAST.

F - Fuel.... is it getting fuel?
A - Air.... valve adjustments correct?
S - Spark...is the ignition working?
T - Timing... is everything happening at the correct time?

Good luck!!!
