I haven't own a radar detector since college, mainly because they annoy the hell out of me. But I guess the police in these parts are serious. This is second time I've been stopped in about 3 months. And my wife got a ticket last week?
so, what's hot these days? Radar/lasor combo's? lets hear'em (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif) JR |

Also, in the book Cannonball by Brock yates he states that contestants who maintained 80MPH - 90MPH on the freeway and used detectors seldom were pulled over. I've followed this advice and it seems to work. It seems that you don't "really" stand out in traffic until you are above 90MPH... or at least you have more time to react and hopefully the patrolman snags someone else first. |
