Alex over at Precision Tech in Marina Del Rey just did me a solid. I took my car to him because I thought I needed a valve adjustment. The car had been running poorly, and was popping on over run. Now, given the weather we have had here in SoCal, I haven't driven the car that much in the last three months, so I did not really notice that it was louder than normal. Turns out it was a small exhaust leak that was fixed by tightening the bolts on the exhaust. I realize that this may not be the end of this problem with the exhaust, but Alex tightened them up in about 1o mins and did it for free.
So if you are looking for a good guy to help you with your car, send me a PM and I'll send you Alex's number. |

I need to know this guy. The eggplant was worked on by him in the past. In fact it has his license plate frame on it...
