I'm getting ready to put my fuel tank back in and when I picked it up and turned it over a ton of rust poured out of it. What the heck? Can I take it to someone who deals with this type of stuff? Wash it out? Throw it away?
Help. |

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) I had the same pile of rust drop out of my last tank. Glad it wasn't just mine. A good heads up for others when pulling and cleaning fuel tanks. I pressure washed mine and put it right back due to female pressure. I tried to find tank sealer and can't remember who sells it.
