Okay guys...
I have installed glass flares last winter. I now have a set of dials on my '74 and have clearance issues with the front of the tire and TWO areas.. The first is the tire and the front edge of the flare.. I have very little clearence and it changes as the wheel turns (lock to lock) The second is the tire hits the front inside wheel well at full turn???? I have the same problem on both sides and the flares look okay, alignment wise (until the wheels were installed)?? Any Ideas? Will caster affect this? Cheers Kerry |

I assume they are standard width GT type flares.
What whees are you running? Phone dials? What are the dimensions of the wheel? What tires are you running (profile and width)? What is the offset of the wheel? Most likely it is an offset problem. If you look at the backside of the wheel it will give the size... something like 7J 15 and then a number in a square... the number in the square is the offset. Or post the wheel part number and we can figure it out. |
