One lucky tattoo'd teener has his eyes on this set and wanted me to post a picture when they were done. This is a matched set of front (yes I do fronts) and rear calipers. Done in the very chic silver (clear zinc) with gold accents.

Update to my previous response on converting 38mm to 42mm pistons.
No, it cannot be done. I forgot about the dust boot. The bore would have to be increased by 4mm, and this would result in too thin of a ring between the groove for the dust boot and the piston bore. If the casting could be welded up, then remachined, perhaps there is a solution. |
