Can a paint color be duplicated i powder coat ? Going to install 911 flag mirrors shortly and was going to paint them the car color, copperflint. Friend said that a powedercoated mirror would last longer ? Is there anything to this ?

As far as I know, powdercoating is hand mixed where as paint can be computer matched. Powerdercoat first, then match the paint second. But, color matching a metallic powdercoat will not work out.
