Many of you may have heard about the new Ford GT-40 by now. Until recently Ford was still calling this a concept vehicle. This is the first article I've seen saying that the car will become a reality next year.

So how do you all think it will do compared to the other cars out there. I say its a bust since Chevy has the domestic "supercar" market wrapped up. Most Americans cannot afford a car like that and when a Corvette with a few bolt-on mods can be faster and you can 3 of them for one GT it doesn't seem wise for Ford to come out with it. Yes it looks nice and all, but guarantee you, you will NEVER see one on the road.
I think it will be a complete bust because of Ford's reliability reputation. If they decided to have them handbuilt overseas at the Jag plants then maybe I would reconsider (they might for all I know, not too sure).
