(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) Hi guys, got a question for you: Does the vw 2.0 ignition module on the coil handle all ignition events--or does it also go thru the computer???

I have access to a very stout 2.0 and am thinking of putting it into my teener--would like to run a stand alone ECU for injection only if it is possible---

Comments???

Timing is handled thru the ECU for the Mk.III ABA (2.0L) engine.

My Jetta 2.0L puts out a dyno'd 102whp. Click me to see Jetta stats.
