Have lunch at the theme restaurant at LAX. There is an observation deck on top of the restaurant. There is also a spot at the approach end of runway 24R (on the north-east side of the airport ) and if you stand there the planes come about 200 feet above your head. This is fun only if you're into planes and stuff and just need ot kill some time.
