I am looking to build up my 1.7 on a budget, mainly I want to punch it out to 2.0 with a higher compression and possibly a cam. What do I have too swap from the the 75 2.0 to the 1.7 ? Any suggestions for a set of pistons, stock bore or close with a higher compression and what about a cam that will work with the F.I. for the street. I am assuming the 2.0 head will have to be used and obviously the jugs, but are there any other pieces I am forgeting ?

Just, rebuild the 2.0, it will cost you more to turn the 1.7 into a 2.0, first off, you'd have to have the 1.7 (90mm barrels) case opened up for the 2.0 barrels (94mm), you'll save that money, using the 2.0 case. The 2.0 may or may not have a windage tray, but it will have the shelf to install a windage tray, where the 1.7 does not.

Just a couple of things to think about.
