Wonder of wonders, my local dealership claims they work on 914s. It's Baker Porsche/Mercedes/Infiniti/Rover in Charleston (anyone know them at all?). I'm thinking of having the clutch replaced and someone more knowledgable than myself set the valves. Thoughts? Do I need the value size jar of Vaseline for the reaming I'll get?

did you post at pelican for a local referal? but wait!!! might as well replace the rubber seals on the engine bay. little bit of rust, paint that. no paint the whole bay. enjoy, let things get a little out of hand. the $500, and i'll bet it's more, you save, sure buy's lots of cool stuff. you can do it yourself. if i would have had to pay someone do the work i've done, i wouldn't bother to own one, or be able to afford it.
