I was putting my engine back together last week afer the dropped valve seat episode, and realized that I don't have the flap to deflect aiflow through the oil cooler.
Iv'e been looking at the parts diagrams, but I'm just not getting where it goes. So could someone please post a pic, or a drawing or something to show me the relationship between the fan housing, the flap, and the oil cooler? The other thermostat parts ar missing as well, but the car will never see freezing temps again, so I'm assuming I don't need the thermostat. Thanks! |

Thanks guys, but I'm still confused...
When the flap is open, it how is air getting to the oil cooler? It looks like the flap covers the cooler. Is the airflow going UNDER the flap? |
