due to me being a dumbass and not checking a part number properly, I now have 2, slightly used(they look almost new, and seem to work great) Bilstein HD shocks for a 911/930 with bilstein struts... The part number is:1899-R365001HO I can post pics too... but since they are shiny, I don't know how much the pics will tell you... they are of no use to me, but I don't know what they are worth?

bondo: if they are going on a 914, I don't know if they will work or not... this thread is the FIRST i've EVER heard of bilstien struts on a 914 from the factory... the only way I know to tell if they will work is to pull one and see if they are like these: inverted with a roll pin
I don't know the way to tell you to test yours, if they leak that's an obvious one, if they are easily compressed, that's not good either... I put $100 OBO on them, if you are interested, send me a PM with an offer... I'd love to see a 914 guy be able to use them, even if it's on their 911... |
