I have AN-12 fittings at the four connection points for the two hoses.
What degree fittings are needed at each connection? I am going to buy the fittings and hose to make my own hoses. I will need to test fit the engine to get the correct length of each hose. IIRC - 0 Deg for the lower tank - 45 Deg for the Upper tank - 90 For the engine block - 45 Deg for the oil cooler (I have a AN-12 90 Deg welded to the OEM cooler) Cheers and any sources for the above would be cool too (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beerchug.gif) |

Summit for Earl's fittings and hose.
the line from the tank to the pressure pump (the one that attaches to the bottom of the cooler) can see a substantial suction and must not be allowed to kink, and should be internally supported. Earl's has long spring internal hose supports that make it virtually impossible for the vacuum to suck the inner liner of the hose closed. |
