saw bits of a show where they are preparing two minis for the track. they filmed it at willow springs. it should rerun later today. thought you guys would be interested. the best lap time was 1:25. the winners got to take home to minis.

my uncle is an expert on mini's, and they employed him to make sure they did all the parts installs correctly etc. My uncle commented that these people are clueless. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif) BTW - watch the 67 beetle competition- they are given 200HP scat motors, and proceed to blow up a dizzy. then instead of running to ANY bug shop in socal to get a dizzy, they use the old VW one ....
