I need to remove two black mismatched window cranks and replace with some shiny chrome ones. How do I remove the existing cranks? TIA Rgds, Michael

If you peel back the plastic cover, you will see a phillips head screw. Just remove it and the crank will pull off.
If you are really anal, make sure the window is rolled up, and then when you reinstall the crank it should point forward and down at a 45 degree angle. (I am picky about the angle of my crank (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/lol2.gif) ) |
