Those of us with healthy children need to read this, pay attention, and thank God (providence, the fates, whatever you believe in) for our good fortune. Sher and Steve must have a grand canyon sized hole in their souls right now.

But..what a privilege they had to know this young, brave little man. They did all they could for him, loved him, hoped for him, and showed him joy. THUMBS UP??? My God what grace and courage!

I will never forget Easton, nor what Carl and the rest of us did for this family.

To Steve and Sher, thank you for allowing us to share in this ordeal; thank you for showing us courage and dignity.

Thank you for loving Easton!
