This covers everything, from the first electric car made in 1901 to the present day porsche....EVERYTHING is in there.
this book even titles the 914 and 912 as the "Unsung Heroes" (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) |

i like that book, but its coverage of 'everything' is a bit light.
closer to 'everything' (but still not quite 'everything' is: Excellence Was Expected (AKA 'EWE'). that, and a copy of Jürgen Barth's "The Porsche Book" will cover most of the early stuff. then, for completeness, you add Frère's "The 911 Story" and "Das Grosse Buch 914" and you'll have a great historical perspective. anyway - happy birthday - and enjoy the book ! |
