I know the rennshifter is the only way to go, but I cant spend 400+ on a shifter. I dont hate 901 shifting, but a shorter throw would be nice. Does the quick shift from performance products do that effectively? Or am I just asking for trouble?

Oh yeah, i have brand new bushings. Its going in a brand new car (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) My only comparison for 901 shifting is my 912, which is MISSING the firewall bushing, and I still like the shifting. Ive driven a few well adjusted 914s with side shift and they felt great, but a shorter throw would be cool. If it made the car MUCH more difficult to select gears or anything, i'd pass, but I was just trying to see if anyone on the board got one and tossed it because it was crap or got one and loves it. |
