How hard is it? I have a plasma cutter and an air body saw, but the obvious complications look to be the hinge areas, the door handle area, and the impact beam. Can I get it off without messing that stuff up? Will the door become a floppy mess that will never be straight again?

Never did one on a 914 but I did one on my 68 Camaro. Looks he same. Start prying the folded edge out and work your way around the outside.
Of course you have to have a new skin to put back on to replace it first. If your thinking of taking a old skin off and reusing it, why? Just hang the door. |
