OK,
Over the weekend I decided it was time to start yanking the motor out... First thing I needed was the proper tool to remove the CV bolts... Went to Sears, bought a T-45 and T-50 torx.... Wrong size and wrong tool. Can anybody help me out here? What is the proper name, size, and place where I can find this tool? I need it to last, so I don't mind spending a little extra$ for a good quality piece... Oh, and I looked over on the Bird Board in the Tech articles, and it was just called a 12 point star tool... Thanks for the help - Thom |

QUOTE(dakotaewing @ Jul 21 2003, 08:21 PM) The guy at Sears took me straight to the torx... Tried to sell me Lisle set first?! He did not know what a 12 point was.... Do they come in different sizes? T Yep. Different sizes. Mine came in a 4-pack. Lisle #60750 "12 Point Triple Square Metric Internal Wench Bit Set" (6, 8, 10, and 12mm). You need the 8mm one. -Ben M. |
