I'm on a toll road to hell and can't see an exit. I was happy with the performance of my stock 2.0L six and had planed on just doing a restoration/ track prep until...
...I drove a friends Euro 3.0 equipped /6 complete with race rubber. This car was scary past 1/2 throttle. Bruce's comment sums it up; "a 914 wasn't made to go like this". To make matters worse, while at Barnes and Noble picking up some books for the kids, I quickly looked at the automotive section. Sitting out on top, was Wayne's new Engine rebuild book. I had to but it; didn't I? Now these bad thoughts of power and highway storming are bouncing around in my head. Is there a cure? can anyone tell me how to exit the devils highway? SOMEONE SHOW ME THE CW WAY! |

Unless a CW looks at the engine case numbers.... I can install a 3.0 and make it look like a stock 6.
I say enjoy the damn cars with some power.... B |
