I had to take a day off to be with the kids ( no school today ) and brought home one of our new 2800 routers to play with. We are upgrading all of our 2600's out at the branches. This thing is a cadillac. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/drooley.gif)

We are going to be rolling out the voip in a few months. They (management) seem to be dragging their heels... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif) And nope, no wireless. It's just not secure enough. Don't need that liability hanging over our heads I guess. Although.. I did hear we were going to start using wireless for some atm's in the near future. I don't even want to be a part of that headache... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/unsure.gif) Demick, we have some big stuff too. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) Just that these 2800's are going out to the branches. If I wouldn't get hogtied and shot on the spot, I'd take a few pics of our core routers down in the noc. |
