Hi,
I have just moved a set of hoosiers from rivieras to a set of 4 bolt fuchs. Now I have severe rubbing on the inside of the rear tires... I guess I will need some spacers, but where can I get the right ones...I used the pep boys 5 bolt/re-drilled ones and I dont want to do that again....it was not very safe IMHO... Or, can I change my alignment to make it better??? Rich |

with a tire as fat as the Hoosier, I think they work better on a wheel with the "wrong" backspacing. 4" like on the Riv's, Empi's or Westerns seems just right.
Call Rich at HPH for 1/4" spacers. that may not be enough. Make sure your lugs are long enough if you don't have studs pressed into your rotors. I had my Hoosiers on 5.5" rims for quite some time. On the 7" rims with 5" backspace I'm dancin' (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mueba.gif) KT |
