i have made a couple of improvements to the drivetrain in the last week (clutch tube repair and rennshift) and now in the morning, when the car is cold, the clutch shudders when moving from a stop. i have to keep the rpms 3k+ and gently release to keep the shudder down. after about 10 minutes of driving, all is back to normal.

1) so, do i need to adjust the clutch cable now that the tube doesn't move?

2) am i going to have to relearn how to shift my car?

3) do i have something coating the clutch plate that takes a while to burn off each morning? (don't want it to be this one!)

4) all of the above?

5) throw it away and get a hyundai?

thanks for the input......
