After being on jack stands for 2 months and about 7 hours help from echocanyons (thankyou (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) )my car is finally on the road again, sort of. I have an exhaust leak on the #3 because of a broken stud (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif) . It's about 1/16 of inch below the hole. I think I am done wrenching for a few months and I just want it fixed quickly. ANy guess as to how many hours labor (worst case) to get it out? I figure 1-1.5 hours for HE and Muffler removal, maybe 1-2 hours for bolt removal? @ $85 hour about $300 clams (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sheeplove.gif)
I am tired and ready to drive it. What can happen if I drive it around this weekend with the leak? Burn a valve? Any input is welcome (positive only please LOL) Luke |
