Ford used to offer the Taurus SHO with the Yamaha built DOHC six. I drove one, not bad, nice engine. After that Ford seemed to lose interest in the performance version and just started stamping out fleet model versions. Typical Detroit marketing. In the early years the Taurus was competing for number one. Later years, Accord and Camry ate their lunch! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)
