A sponsor is someone who donates money for entry fee in return for the tax deduction as well as advertisement in the program book. Whenever I get a sponsor, I try to do something for that sponsor whether it be showing up for some event or something that they need help with. Most times the local newspapers will run a little column on the pageant and list the sponsors as well. It is kinda just advertising through a beautiful woman.
