Okay guys..
I have decided on a date for the '05 cookout. It will be Sep 17, 2005 in Kennett Square, Pa (19348). I'll BUMP this as I get more info. Please e-mail me at kerrys914@yahoo.com if you are interested in attending. This is the early stages of the event and I will post more detail as they get decided on. I'll be at Hershey to decide/talk about the details if desired. I plan on having: - Cookout (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) with some American and German food - Group Photos - Tech session (Topic yet to be decided) - Tech quiz - ?A short dive on an twisty fun road? - Some planning for ECC '06 - Good times (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beer.gif) I would like to have this cookout for the whole family so bring you wife(s) or ?. I will be contacting some vendors with hopes on getting some support for the event. If you have any leads on a vendor who would be willing to help with product support, please let me know. Thanks and see you in Hershey Cheers (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beerchug.gif) |

I do have a spare tranny for the tech session, so we are covered there (syncro change). We also have an engine drop and clutch work as another tech session. The tranny session was just going to be an inside look at what it takes to do a 1-2 syncro change. I full rebuild session would be nice but I didn't want the guys to spend 4hrs of the cookout working on a tech session. The engine drop and clutch work is a bigger tech session but the owner of the car has offered to do the work and have us laugh...HELP... him through the process (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) I am sure if time allows the tranny will be looked at but the main purpose of event is to have fun and make fun of people (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif): ) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) Again, the tools ( I think I have them all) will be here and I am sure the tranny will be looked at but no 100% guarantee on a complete assembly Cheers |
