The interior is slowly turning red. Thank you Mike (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) Now I need to pull the windshield to get at the vinyl in front of the dash pad. Next I am installing FAT MAT for sound insulation. Still looking at steering wheel options.

Forgot to mention. What do you think about doing the metal housing around the gauges in a wood grain?? You know like the old FORDS in the 40's. I have a spare gauge housing you can have if interested. In fact I was thinking about playing around with a painted wood grain color application on my spare one. Easy to put in and take out for a custom look. If interested I have a procedure somewhere in my archives. First you paint a base color then wipe with ink for the wood grain look. After that a clear coat then rub out for the final finish. Just another painted surface, Fax Wood. Tom |
