Would a frozen Dellorto carburetor be repairable at home, or is this a job that would need to be farmed out to someone to have it done correctly?
Have not had much experience with carbs in general, so am not familiar with the problem. |

Using a bucket, soak*** them in WD40 or your favorite brand of rust buster for about 4 -5 days and see if the butterflys free up. Heat is not a good thing but can be used.
Rebushing the throttle shafts is a real possibility and should be done by a KNOWLEDGABLE machine shop. ***make sure the throttle shafts/butterflys are submerged |
