Hi Gang,

I am recently back in the fold after completing my moving to Flagstaff, AZ (retired people do things a little differently and slower-----I guess I fit this definition).

I have really missed my daily fix of 914's and the events that go with the car. I have been selling off my cars, arranging my needs, getting tools in order, sorting my remaining Porsche parts, etc. Getting ready for returning to the Group. Even searched out and bought a 914 rolling chassis with 916 appearance group on it.

I have been following the Moab trip and can only say, "what a great time and the country is beautiful!". I even follow the happenings of the Colorado members and their activities.

I am glad to see the Arizona Group is getting organized much in the same way others such as the Colorado Group. The different in-house groups under the 914Club banner gives me insight and enjoyment on member activities throughout the world. I have met a lot of people that I otherwise would not have come into contact.

I am thankful for all the people, topics, knowledge, manufacturing, ideas, etc that have flowed through the club website.

It is because of all the foregoing, much more that goes unsaid, and the website I have a hobby I love. I have rearranged my cars (selling a Corvette C-4, Lotus Esprit Series 1, Alfa Romeo GTV) to channel my energies toward the 914. I cannot build my next and final car without everything and everybody on this board.

I know there has been difficulties in the past and their probably be difficulties in the future, but this is part of belonging to something that we all enjoy.. Many times thanks should be said, but we forget. It is important to be considerate to our members.

Andy, I am forever greatful for the services you provide to the club website, Thankyou for all your efforts. We need, I need this website otherwise my hobby of 914's would not have as much meaning.

I still owe you a lunch since I could not get together with you earlier this year. I will make it a point of getting to the Bay Area and having that lunch with you.

Everyone connected with the club, thank you very much since it is all of us that make up the character and energy associated with it. Thanks!!

These are my thoughts
