nearing the end of my 914 reassembly i came upon the the throttle cable. i cant seem to find a way to connect it to the throttle lever. Went through the Haynes and nadda. Could someone post a picture of their throttle lever connected to the throttle cable? Thanks in advance (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif)

It is a pretty straight forward connection if you look at the end of the throttle cable and where it attaches to the throttle body. Stick the end in the hole and tighten down the bolt - I believe it is an 8mm.

Be sure to get it right (not too much tension) or the motor may rev up really high when you start it up for the first time. Make sure the valve is closed and there is a *little* slack on the cable.

Also don't forget to attach it at the point on top of the motor, behind the trottle body.
