Had an interesting trip the other day when the front hood flew back, totally blocking all foward view!
It bent/destroyed at least one of the hinges as well as the top panel behind the hood. The hood was also bent.
Are there replacement fiberglass or Carbon Fiber hoods made for my 1970 914-6?
I would be willing to use pins rather than the old hinges and hood latch.
Anyone have a front hood in the NY/NJ area that is in Very Good Shape?

from my experience, getty FG/CF seems to fit a bit better than the others, but be aware that all FG/CF parts are made for racing purposes and the fit will *never* be as good as a original steel hood ...

they can be made to fit ok.
