I know I can get it off, done it way to many times. But why oh why is it such a bitch to get these damn things off? Does anyone have a really, really, really clean way to get them off easily? I have a nice complete used rear arm with drive shaft and everything ready for a swap.

Oh, and, do any of my local gang have a cv joint gasket handy? It's the one thing out of all the crap I forgot to order that I absolutely must have to get the car back on the road this weekend.

get some gasket paper at FLAPS and make one if you're really stuck...btdt, fussy but it works

I made one from a piece of thick exhaust gasket material from my FLAPS. To make sure the thing was circular, I used Word on the PC to draw 2 circles, one inside the other, printed it and used it for a stencil to cut the gasket.
