I've gone and bought Mike's bottom end bits
78mm Crank, rods, fly, PP, fan all balanced at RAT Plus 94mm Nickies with 94mm Type 1 cima pistons. I did it because...besides the fact I'm stupid...I need an engine for my '67 bug. NOW do I use the big 2.6L for the bug and do a 2.2L turbo and keep the SSI's??????? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/unsure.gif) Heat makes it very tempting in the teener. OR do the big T4 in the 914 (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/blink.gif) The T1 Cimas will make for a wide (as in big spacers) engine, maybe as much as 3/4 inch wider. Which ever way I go, I'll be using Mike's crank, etc., in the 914 as it's all balanced by RAT. I'm so confused (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif) Damn you Mueller!!!! When you do, give her the price in US dollars and hope she doesn't catch on. |
