On page 101 of the Brian Long book about 914's is the only one I have seen that is not in race trim. There have been several picutres over the years in Excellece of different ones. Does anybody have a full size copy of that picture on page 101? I might be interested in replicating the stripe job. Thanks, Mark.

Depending on the event the GT was to be entered, the appropriate parts were then installed or removed from this so called "GT Kit". Between 1970 and 1971, the factory did initially built a number of 914-6 GT race cars (that number is between 33 to 38 cars) and these 914s later became more commonly known as the "factory-built" cars.
