someone finally made it. . . about 7 years ago I talked with a local patent attorney about making this exact same thing. I drew it up as a box that would induction sense off a spark plug wire and synthesize a selectable "hot rod" and transmit it via FM to a unused channel to tune in on your radio.

When I saw that the G-tech guys were reading rpm I figured that they would be the ones to do it.

I wouldn't have advertised it as a way to show off, just would make the little honda stick shift a little more fun to drive. . .
