Just curious, what's it like there? Has anyone been there before? Lived there?
What's cost of living like (compared to SoCal)? I found an opening there... If they don't decrease my pay I could be better off down there maybe. |

it's not exactly a metropolis, but small-town texas can be very nice... ditto on the "bubbas" comment too though... if you are living on a certain amount there, and they are going to pay you the same to live in Beaumont... you'll probably live like a king!
no state income taxes either... |
