Since my hood will be a pretty wide and featureless without the headlights, I will make the gas filler a feature...probably along with another vent but I'll reveal that later.

The day I bought my NEW 914 in '73, I took it to fill it with gas and the attendant asked if I wanted him to check my oil. Of course I said yes and standing at the front he said pop the rear hood....so I did, now he was already filling the gas tank at the front and the look on his face (which has been repeated over the years many times) was priceless...then he says holy shit dude, I think your engine is missing....after I opened the engine lid he says "damn, must be a small engine to fit in there...what a crack up....
