Oddball question of the day:
My exhaust pulsates strongly at idle. Is this normal? If I hold my hand near the exhaust pipe I hear a rapid foof-foof-foof-foof and can feel the pulses of pressure hit my hand. It's pretty strong, much stronger than any other car I have owned. Is this a function of my exhaust flow characteristics or an indication that something is wrong (leaking valve, nonstock cam?) or is it perfectly normal? Just curious... |

probaby emphasized due to short length of exhaust system and/or narrow pipe compared to front engine cars. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/popcorn[1].gif)
