Has anyone installed pressure and temperature gauges in the dash below the fuel gauge and speedometer? This would replace the cigarette lighter and fog light switch. I am going to use 2 1/16" VDO gauges. Any pitfalls to watch out for? Anyone have pics? Thanks!

There's not too much room there, and the visability would be poor. Try the 2 hole VDO rubber mounting bracket in place of the ash tray. It's just about a perfect fit and the guages are very visable. Just trim off the angled top of the rubber mount and use the same screw holes that held in the ash tray.
