So what item?, the heads or the cylinders have more of an impact on engine performance and longevity when properly cooled?
If someone had a bolt-on kit for watercooling, would you rather have watercooled heads or watercooled cylinders? What temperature do the cylinders get to while the engine is working? |

Of course it's possible. If you've ever seen an early Subaru engine, you can see that it's very possible. Scooby took a Type I engine and wrapped cooling passages around the heads and I think the cylinders as well. Then they went on from there....
