Well, as the title said, this was a very productive weekend:
1. I found a used/rebuilt 2.0 head at a local VW shop. The guy said the head has been rebuilt... Looks like the valves have been re-done. Some blue markings around the head (don't know how good a job this was, but it's an extra head). The guy sold it to me for $50 out the door. See pics. 2. I went to a friend's house for a poker tournament/superbowl party. The gods of luck shined upon me. I placed first out of 18 people in the tournament. Got a trophy and a nice little wad of cash. 3. My room addition/conversion for the studio/retreat is coming along. Should be done next weekend. Attached image(s) |
